FIIAPP is Delighted to Welcome the Spanish Foreign Minister in Nigeria

On 13th January, 2023 in Abuja, Nigeria, the International and Ibero-American Foundation for Administration and Public Policies (FIIAPP) through the A-TIPSOM Nigeria Project welcomed Mr. José Manuel Albares, the Spanish Foreign Affairs Minister.
The team leader of A-TIPSOM Project, Mr. Federico Millan who was among the leaders of Spanish-led agencies in Nigeria to welcome Albares, introduced the A-TIPSOM project and presented some souvenirs to the minister related with the project.
According to the Team Leader of A-TIPSOM Project, Mr. Federico MILLAN, the minister’s visit is a testament to the strong and enduring relationship between Spain and Nigeria, and this will deepen the cooperation among the two nations on a wide range of issues of mutual interest.
The minister who was hosted for a launch by Mr. Juan Ignacio Sell, the Spanish Ambassador to Nigeria, said, “Nigeria is one of the great regional actors, the first economy of the continent and an absolute pillar to ECOWAS. My visit is to give a new impetus to the relationship that is already strong and restate the visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to Spain in which five Memorandum of Understandings were signed and three treaties on judicial cooperation”
Albares is the first Spanish Minister to visit Nigeria in thirteen years and the A-TIPSOM Nigeria are confident that this visit will result in meaningful progress and further strengthen the bond between the two nations.
